William Ng Attends 11th ASEAN MSME Advisory Board Meeting, Addresses Energy Crisis Impacting SMEs
Datuk William Ng attended the 11th ASEAN MSME Advisory Board (AMAB) meeting as Malaysia’s private sector representative to the Board.
The meeting focused on finalising policy recommendations to the ASEAN Economic Ministers, with a particular emphasis on the energy crisis that has disproportionately affected SMEs across the region.
William also took the opportunity to brief AMAB and ACCMSME (leaders of government agencies supporting MSMEs) on the 5 Pillars of the ASEAN SME Caucus.
Gratitude was extended to the OECD and ASEAN-BAC for their input. Heartiest congratulations to the Philippines on their chairmanship of ASEAN this year.
